the Whooping Crane

Pl. #313 (adult) - #314 (young)

Seventeen of eighteen young whooping cranes, guided by an 'Ultralight' from Wisconsin to Florida in 2006, were destroyed during a storm which ravaged Florida in early Feb, 2007. Profit on this website from the sale of prints of either the whooping crane, Plate 313 -- see image -- or its close relative, the Sandhill Crane, (which Audubon mis-classified as a young whooping crane, Plate 314 --see image), will go to aiding Operation Migration's "Remembering the Class of 2006" Fund. More info... Please note we are not yet a tax-exempt organization.
